About Us

I am the founder of "A Perfect Press Kit" and "A Perfect Photo."  This was an idea I came up with many years ago but it wasn't until 2009 that I put the wheels in motion.  I've been producing press kits for my clients and I've always been proud of the finished product when compared to what others have.   Add to that great photos and the press kit comes alive.

The goal of "A Perfect Press Kit" is to have others get to know you. With a perfect press kit you can release all those hidden secrets (the good ones you want to share) so that you can be appreciated for what you have achieved in your life.  If you never tell anyone how are they going to know.

How often have you been asked for either information about yourself or a great photo and then what.  You went rummaging around to pull together whatever you could.   Once you organize your information into "A Perfect Press Kit" with great photos then it's only a matter of updating your information when there are new things to add.  And then you want to be sure you've got photos that represent what you look like now (in the best light of course!).

So here is your chance to be noticed.  In the pages ahead you will be given an outline of the various sections in a press kit but there's also the unknown.  You may have a product that needs  a page of its own.  There might be a philanthropic side to your business or service that is worthy of its own page.  Or perhaps you want a PSA for radio stations to pick up.  Those are things we will discover once we get to know you, your business or service or your organization better.

While there might be an additional page or two, the basics are usually a given and should be part of any press kit.  These include the fast facts, bio, story ideas, and historical outline.  It could also include quotes.  Then there is the photo section (which is separate from the press kit and optional) but we can both take the photos and supply you with a CD of images.

Take a moment to review this site where you will see sample press kits and even clips books as well as sample photo pages so that you can get a sense of what your press kit and photo album could look like.

And when you are ready, send us an email at aperfectpresskit@gmail.com or take a moment and sign up on our contact sheet for our weekly marketing or photo tip.  There's also a blog where we welcome your questions, comments and suggestions.

"A Perfect Press Kit" Simple History
This is the beginning of our journey.  Although I've been creating press kits it seems like forever, it was in April of 2009 that I developed this site and truly put my focus into this new endeavor.
