"A Perfect Press Kit"
Ah! the topic everyone wants to hear about. What is it going to cost. The one thing I've learned about PR, writing and photography is that they all are labor intensive. There is no short cut to doing a good job. Producing a press kit takes a long time and a lot of hours. We generally say that we can send you a finished product in four to six weeks, but a lot of that depends on how efficient you are at getting us what we need.
Our basic Press Kit price is $2500 and that assumes that you will provide us with everything we need but we'll have to do the sifting to rewrite the pages and organize it in a fashion that is "neat, tidy and presentable." You can email us documents or links to a web site. If we find there are things missing we can discuss those missing links and fill in the blanks as we go.
If you want something more involved than the basic press kit than we will discuss what those additional requests are and agree upon the price.
"A Perfect Photo"
If you are also interested in a photo album we can do a basic photo shoot (no setting up of lights or anything major) where we will come to your location to do the photography. From that we will take the culled photos and put them on a CD for your future use. You would have to cover our travel expenses (and yes we are willing to travel long distances) and the fee for the photo shoot would be negotiable based on your needs and what the photos will be used for. Pricing generally starts at $1500 for the first two hours and an additional fee for any extra hours, but keep in mind that we will give you the CD of photos - at least 100 photos and we give you the ability to use those photos for such things as editorial use, on your web site or to print out to give to people. Most photographers charge a shoot fee and then if you want any of the photos you have to pay extra for the prints. Any use for commercial campaigns with these photos would need to be agreed upon ahead of time.
We can also work out separate per photo arrangements if that is your preference.
For printing of the photos you can do that yourself or we will upload the photos to our photo site where the prices are extremely reasonable and you can order whatever you want. All photography would be done by Diana De Rosa who has a long list of credits, among which are covering six equestrian Olympic Games.
Just looking for something inexpensive - then why not purchase one of the photos of one of our animals. Those photos are $25 (S&H extra) and we will give you a selection to choose from. Just a photo of you or someone else with one of the animals is $50 for an 8x10 print. Or a 1-hour photo session on the property with or without the animals is $250 and you get a CD of 10 images. You bring the people (family and friends) and we spend an hour taking pictures.
Diana's sister Donna is a hair stylist and so (for an additional fee) you can have your hair done even your makeup.
"A Perfect Whatever"
Perhaps you don't need a complete press kit but need a press release written and some photos. We can do anything that has to do with either of those topics. And as a PR person Diana has a diverse understanding of what is involved from that perspective as well.
